Fixed Braces

Fixed braces are non-removable brackets glued to each tooth and linked with wires. By adjusting the wires, the pressure of these brackets moves the teeth according to the orthodontist’s prescription.

Most commonly the brackets are metal but are also available in clear and ceramic material meaning they are more aesthetically pleasing and less visible.

Treatment times vary from person to person but usually takes 18 -24 months with adjustment appointments required every 8 -10 weeks.
